ABACUS / MENTAL ARITHMETIC

The ABACUS, in itself is a powerful educational tool by its own right. At Smart Brain America, we have crafted a proprietary program that is light years beyond this basic concept by creating a children’s educational program.  Our All-Inclusive Right Brain Development and Abacus Arithmetic course is purposely designed to use the full capabilities and strength of the right side and left side of the brain.

The Smart Brain America Abacus program allows our students to be able to perform large & difficult calculations in the head without any help from the use of a computer or calculator. For example, a child as young as even 9 years of age, (in our Graduate Level) would be able to calculate a number as large as 739,241/329 --- all in the head, without any computers, calculators, or even the Abacus!  Incredibly our Graduate Level children can accomplish this in approximately 10 seconds with near perfection each and every time at a pace equal to competition level!

Our Abacus program doesn’t just stop with just tremendous calculating power.  Equally as impressive is our student’s brain development in:

SMART PLUS – Math, Reading/Writing Enrichment

Our Smart Plus Enrichment classes are some of the best in the industry.  Our copy written Smart Plus Enrichment curriculum was custom developed by a Board of Education Certified Teacher.  Using state and federal educational guidelines and syllabus, help our students to perform initially at grade level while fostering their innate ability to accelerate past this point into the next grade level.  Once into the next grade level your child’s confidence will become rock solid giving them the chance to really shine -with ease!   

SMART MATH ENRICHMENT – Our certified teachers can help your child succeed by helping them with math for their grade.  Part  of this help is to assist our students on how to better understand and dissect word problems.  Word Problems can be a source of frustration for so many children.  However, with the proper  teaching and guidance your child can and will learn how to do word problems with ease.

SMART READING / WRITING -  Proper reading and writing is one of those subjects that is best taught by
an actual teacher.  We cover all the critical areas, such as: grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, etc. 

 We also address Essay Writing.  Essay writing has become an area of much needed help for today’s students.  With today’s classrooms swelling as large as 25 and up, getting a child to write well is proving to be a large task for even the best of today’s teachers.    At Smart Brain America, we have a syllabus to shows our students how formulate a great essay.  We will teach formulation of ideas, storyline generation, character building, and all the important aspects of what makes for good reading.

Our Enrichment courses are real confidence boosters.  Once your child feels they got a hold of the subject matter, they feel nothing is going to stop them.

Smart Test Prep

Employing those who have proven test preparation success with a track record work in our test prep center.  These same instructors, now at Smart Brian America, can make that DIFFERENCE you are looking for!  Our Test Preparation teachers are usually test prep experienced individuals, as well as Board of Ed. certified teachers.

Unlike so many other test prep centers, we do not guarantee jumps in test scores.  Why?  Simply put, when a test prep center or for that fact any educational center guarantees jumps in scores, they do so by filtering out students who they know cannot achieve those results.  In this manner, an educational facility is left with only those students who “make the cut”, therefore, guaranteeing those results.

Smart Brain America will educate each and every child who is willing to learn within our classrooms and in their home via homework.  In this manner, most any child who comes to a Smart Brain America class and does their work has a good a chance as any other to succeed.
